Doing the math on posted internal dimensions, this Everbilt appears to have about the same internal volume as the Yeti Tundra 35. That Yeti costs $250 and this Everbilt is $40; IMO there is no way the Yeti is 6 times better!

From what I have read, the trick with these coolers -- if you want the ice to last a long time -- is to pre-chill them the night before (using some milk jugs of frozen water) prior to loading them up for deployment.

Pre chill may help but not a ton...what you want to do is use them old wal mart plastic bags or a couple of larger trash bags and insulate the top. Works like a charm

It doesn't mean it's necessarily better, but I've been trying to buy US made items as frequently as possible, even if I pay a little more. Can anyone who purchased validate where the product is manufactured?

Just FYI, you do not get additive benefits of separate coolers (i.e. better thermal ability). A single larger cooler would be more efficient. That said, if you have people who like to go in and out of coolers 10x a day, multiple coolers would be a better choice.
