I hate to troll and I am sure someone can use this ... this has been the price for months. Unfortunately the straight leg version is much more expensive. Just my 1.5 cents.

No worries! Smilie
I just ran across this deal and posted because it's cheaper than the earlier FP deal.

Thanks a lot for posting this. Been waiting and waiting for a good deal on a canopy for a while. I'm not expecting it to be a castle or something, but just something to keep me out of the sun. I was really holding out for a screened canopy because I was planning on making a makeshift outdoor paint studio (or basically, somewhere I can paint stuff and not have to worry about flakes, leaves, bugs, dust, and other things affecting the finish. But this will do for now, and I might end up using this for more fun stuff anyway.

How tall does this get from the edge of the canopy?

It has NOT been this price for months; this is definitely cheaper than the normal price. Granted, this discount pops up pretty regularly.

Obligatory: the coverage is 10x10, hence the 100sf listing. 12x12 is the total footprint.

Why do people buy slant legs instead of straight? Is it just because of the cost savings? Also how is the quality on these ozark trail? Easier to setup by one person than the straight leg? Need shade working in the driveway and the straight leg is a pain to setup and take down alone

Allegedly better stability, but I think it's just so they can cheap out a little on the metal. Ours was toast within 2 days at the beach, but I'd buy one for temporary shade out of the wind.

Damn I'll have to wait on a deal on a good quality straight leg. Can't tell when they are heavy duty or not.

Can anyone recommend a decent beach tent that's not too heavy and goes up easy?

A lot of the Colemans and EZ-up canopies in the $80-$120 range are really solid. 1" square frames, etc. Night and day compared to Ozark, albeit at a little heavier weight.

I've seen the actual ez up brand but can't tell when they're listed online. I'm thinking maybe judging 10 x 10 and then comparing weight to see which might be better? Are these slant legs much lighter? It is a pain trying to lug the heavy ones across the sand.

Ouch, 2 days?! I've been running this at the beach now for better part of 3 years without issues, love it and will buy it again. Not as big of area but enough to get out of sun and wind, sets up in 60 seconds, bought on sale for like $40 and it came with 2 20oz SS tumblers

Super lightweight and works well in the rain too, not that you want to be at the beach in a thunderstorm with lightning..
