I'm not sure if this was targeted or not. It was an offer under my Marriott Chase credit card account. You get $900 cash back when you open a checking and savings account through the link. Sure the interest rates are crap...but once you get your $900 after 3 months, you can close accounts and move elsewhere. Seems like a killer deal...unless I'm missing something?

Thanks OP again!!
What day did you open your account and was the 15K put in the same day? I wonder if a check being put on hold makes a difference. It shouldn't and they said it wouldn't. I opened and used a personal check from another bank and it was on hold for several days.
Initiated $15K Online transfer to savings from my CapOne account: Dec 10, which got deposited in Chase savings on Dec 12.
I would think they will count 90 days from when $15K showed up in Chase savings account.

Yes thank you for the heads up for a Tuesday. Came in this morning and still pending but the funds are available. So Tuesday seems to be correct but not sure why it wasn't last Tues-- Opened on 12/16 with regular check for the 15K for those of you wondering where yours is--

I got mine the Tuesday after the 90th day, as DealGuy predicted.
