I read up on korean websites and these are not related to the Hyundai automobile company. Apparently they sold the name to some 3rd party chinese company to make all sorts of things. there are keyboards, mouse and other stuff with hyundai name on them. not really important but just a few things about the name brand.

Hyundai does have electronics line but it got bought by SK group after name hyundai electronics line name changed to SK Hynix (you've probably seen hynix more often on rams...etc)
What kind of professional experience are you talking about? You, as a professional, put these undeniably cheapo drives into business machines? I don't think that's the market for these drives.
I think the 480 would be great in a USB enclosure for an Xbox. Decent read speeds, cheap, and reliability isn't much of a concern (though I think other posters' comments about that are overblown anyway).

This was my exact thoughts but after looking at the 860 QVO 1TB for $88. It's kinda hard to pull the trigger on this one.

If you do that route. Just get an usb 3.0 to sata cable. It's cheaper than most enclosures.

These are unreliable, low quality garbage. Do not use them in ANYTHING that you can about and do not put any important data on them. Speaking from professional experience.

Ok to use them in throw away machines or temporary rigs.

The 240GB ADATA SU635 QLC is only $1 more [amazon.com]. Opinions on which is likely to last longer?

My only suggestion is that I've gotten the Adata SU800 Ultimate of similar size for $48 shipped 2 times now. Amazon sale or urlhasbeenblocked.

D-Ram and more reliable brand for ssd. However if you're looking to go super cheap and know what you're getting here then go for it

Picked up a 120 when they were this price recently. It works well as a boot drive for an older computer to speed it up substantially from hdd.
