Better.com does not provide lending in VA. So need to work with Rocket for the AMEX credit.

I applied through the AmEx link, and it said something about AmEx in the lower left corner, but now when I return to the page to check rates, the AmEx logo in the lower left is gone. Is this normal? It never asked for my AmEx card info. How/when do I link it?

I'd imagine pipelines are super overwhelmed with all these refis. They probably temporarily prop up rates and if someone bites, they make even more. No one is hurting for business right now.

I did a purchase, not a refinance. I ended up going for 3.75% with $3500 in credits (not including the Amex credit). I'm sure I could've done better, but the credit let me put more down and I'm still going to be able to pay a significant amount over my monthly bill.
