EDIT information from Better.com!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello,
I work with Better, com and wanted to see if you could please add in the following information to your post on Amex/Better,com deal as it reads incorrect as it stands, especially regarding eligibility. We want to make sure the offer is stated as accurately as possible:
1) Mortgage rates of any specific customer, stated or otherwise, should not be taken as indicative of a mortgage rate available to all customers. Pricing is based on a number of factors, including the individual credit profile of a potential borrower.
2) The offer is only available to those borrowers who have been marketed to directly by American Express, and those who have not received the offer on their Amex portal or via email are not eligible.

What rates did you guys get?

I got a 3% with $4700 in closing costs. With the $2500 that is $2200 out of pocket.

I'm seeing some people saying rates will be in the low 2's soon. hope i didn't mess up...Underweather

How did you guys the quote from lenderfi. They didn't even ask for personal information except for loan amount, zipcode, how much house worth? Then hey shows multiple offers 15 years . Those rates has around 4500 closing cost for 2.75% interest rate. Am I doing something wrong?
You have to go through the application process where you put in personal info, and they do a soft pull. After that, they send you an e-disclosure package with the loan estimate in it.

Same Question. Any input?
I confirmed with Better and they said that my Blue Cash and EveryDay cards qualify for the promotion.

So if I apply today and get my instant credit card number, can I apply through the link or do I need to make sure the offer shows up on my Amex dashboard

I used an agent in California got 3.125 with 0 points, I also did mine a month too early. Rates have dropped then. I figured 3.125 for 30 year fixed super jumbo loan was good, then rates dropped again!

They will look at your credit report to verify your amex and before closing will verify your last 5 digit through task on better .com.
At least that is what concierge told me.

Credit union 1 offered me 2.5% with 0 points for 15 years. Closing cost is roughly $3000. Should I take it or there is anyone else who can offer better rates?

I would give this LE to Better to see if they can compete. If they can, you will have one of the best deal

This matches all time lows for me here in So Cal for 15 years refi. I am not sure if that rate is purchase, but purchase rates tends to be a bit cheaper because the banks makes more money. IMO, rates are heading lower, but that is always a gamble. I can be wrong and the rates heads back up and you are SOL.

Best of luck on the purchase/refi.

Thanks for the input. Rates are for refinancing the loan.

I second this. I got an LE from Owning with no closing costs for 15 year at 2.5% and Better beat it according to their policy. I'll actually be making some money after the refi, around $3.9K (including this Amex promo).
