EDIT information from Better.com!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello,
I work with Better, com and wanted to see if you could please add in the following information to your post on Amex/Better,com deal as it reads incorrect as it stands, especially regarding eligibility. We want to make sure the offer is stated as accurately as possible:
1) Mortgage rates of any specific customer, stated or otherwise, should not be taken as indicative of a mortgage rate available to all customers. Pricing is based on a number of factors, including the individual credit profile of a potential borrower.
2) The offer is only available to those borrowers who have been marketed to directly by American Express, and those who have not received the offer on their Amex portal or via email are not eligible.

The Better.com Loan Estimate is asking for 11 months of Escrow in advance, seems crazy right? other estimates Ive gotten are 6 months or less.
I think their loan estimates are off. For mine they had transfer taxes on there even though it's a refinance. I would reach out to them and make sure.

for me they want to re-do my appraisal a month after closing ! Smilie
What in the world? I get rechecking your paperwork, but to want an appraisal after-the-fact? I didn't look specifically for this, but I don't see terms in the note that they can accelerate payment for this. Hopefully it's simple and they'll just do an exterior appraisal, but if not, I wonder what would happen.

Yeah. They did external only but now want internal and external. I am guessing they are reselling the loan and something came up that it cannot be resold without a proper appraisal? They offered me a small $ as a token of appreciation.

What % down? Taxes you mean or Home insurance? If you have to pay PMI you're required to prepay a full year usually.

I am 87% LTV basically. I know ill have to have PMI and stuff but with my purchase it was not that much. Pretty sure it was 6 months instead.

I was notified of a delay in my closing date due to waiting on subordination agreement for a HELOC. Not quite the same as I haven't signed yet

Yea that makes sense. At least they are paying you for the inconvenience. I have gotten nothing for mine. They ordered an interior appraisal but the paperwork said external only. I called and left multiple emails for them to fix it. They did not and I had to let someone into my house for nothing.

Got a question about getting LenderFi loan estimate.

I submitted my application on LenderFi, selected the 15Y 2.5% rate from a list of LenderFi purposed rates. But, all I got was only an Approval Letter. Can't find their Loan Estimate so far. I also uploaded all the To-Docs. (W2, mortgage statement, paystub, etc.) My question is, how do I get their Loan Estimate?

You've already done more than you need to do. I had LenderFi email me the LE when I asked and I did not upload any documents. Just email your contact and ask for it.
