Notary and closing
Here is what you can expect or ask for from my experience:
1. New pen for signing wiped thoroughly
2. Pen stays with you after signing
3. Only material they will touch would be your ID
4. ID would be wiped and returned back
5. Can expect gloves to be worn
6. Signing can happen in your front yard or in your garage
7. If you have a Costco table then you can sit on either sides to maintain distancing
8. Masks might be recommended given new guidelines
9. Plus discuss with the notary!!

Pretty pumped was a 30-year 3.0% with about 2,000 in credits
Coming from a 3.5% but the credits pretty much cover my closing costs and any fees
Have to escrow now though but not a big deal
1. Did you get a loan number match and $1000 on top of it(first time quotes)?
2. How soon you closed your refi after you had finished all tasks?
April 3 - Better.com could not match, email to send Closing Disclosure/Note after closing w/ competitor
June 3 - Sent competitor closing disclosure/note to Mortgage Expert, Response sent to pricing team for verification
June 4 - Verified eligible, request for address.
June 5 - Check will be mailed within 2-3 business days.
Overall quick, easy and faster than expected.

Coming from a 3.5% with about 10 months into my original 30 year. Not bad saving about 120 a month.
Also will get the AMEX credit.
I have to escrow now however but not a big deal considering I pay in full every year anyway.
Thoughts?
