Notary and closing
Here is what you can expect or ask for from my experience:
1. New pen for signing wiped thoroughly
2. Pen stays with you after signing
3. Only material they will touch would be your ID
4. ID would be wiped and returned back
5. Can expect gloves to be worn
6. Signing can happen in your front yard or in your garage
7. If you have a Costco table then you can sit on either sides to maintain distancing
8. Masks might be recommended given new guidelines
9. Plus discuss with the notary!!

Try your earnest not to have to call. As an adolescent, I got hit by a car with an inattentive driver as I was crossing a side-street on the sidewalk. He never intended on stopping at the intersection, so only looked to his left coming up to it vs. to the kid in the crosswalk. I was 100% in the right, but you can be damn sure that I watch for such moments and do what I can to avoid a scenario like that. I rather not be in the scenario at all vs. being in it, but in the right.
That on is harder. In all likelihood, engaging the servicing company would likely be necessary. However, the case/post I read was the borrower thinking they didn't need to make one last payment to their OLD loan and dealing with the OLD servicing agent about the late payment. There again, the underlying problem is the late payment, not the servicing agent.
I did, but perhaps I read didn't reports than the ones you did. There are no shortages of posts about any servicing company.
I'm sorry you feel that way. I tried to provide constructive feedback and genuinely was curious about such scenario. I'm not a shill, but I am educated on the topic insofar that I've read up on it and general experience with people at-large.
All of your other points are ludicrous. "Try not to have to call" ...really ? Sometimes you have to call, its a fact of life.

How you guys were able to apply
Days until the old mortgage shows being paid off?
If Better actually owes you money when they realize they figured the payoff wrong - how long to get a check?

Not saying you're complaining about the funding process, but literally thousands of forumers have refinanced via Better, they do follow through the funding despite the recent gripes on pricematching and response times.
Thank you. Unfortunately no go for my state.
