the label on the back doesn't say beef fat? unless one of the chemicals is derived from beef fat? I miss my old girlfriend from college who majored in food science... she could tell me exactly what every ingredient really meant. I was young and super dumb because I dumped her for a cheerleader who was a textbook example of empty-headed blonde. Frown Frown Frown One of the worst mistakes in my life. Frown

FYI: This version does not use wheat to thicken, only corn starch. Not officially GF, as the production line is probably not isolated. But better than the regular brown gravy mix, which uses wheat as the first ingredient.

Love this stuff. Slice up some left over roast(med rare) Toss it in the pot before the gravy thickens, let it simmer till beef is warmed through & gravy is as thick you like. Lightly toast some Italian sandwich bread and make yourself a lip smacking sammy. Yum Yum Yum

I usually buy the packet versions of this so I'm in for one.

Fyi, looks like it makes almost 20 cups of gravy, total. (i.e. about 74 quarter-cup servings of gravy).

For those with $10 or $30 Walmart e-gift card compensation
from the Walmart iPhone fiasco last week, Walmart has the
exact same gravy mix for the same $4.72 price:

https://www.walmart.com/ip/McCorm.../152574649

By the way, there's a total of 28862mg of sodium in this gravy.
That information may give your cardiologist a heart attack.
