I usually get the 8in refurb or amazon warehouse ones for about this price and they are always in like-new condition, but I can see as a gift someone may want to give 7in instead. I always just put Google Play store on these and download YouTube and a few other apps, but recently i notice that on one of the 8in, it looks like amazon may have done an update and zapped all the Google apps? Is Amazon cracking down on side-loaded apps?
I'm dealing with an issue with dailysteals from a Black Friday order I placed. They sent me the wrong product and I've been arguing with them since to send them back and get the correct ones. More than a week and a half later and they still can't figure out how to send me a shipping label. They claimed yesterday that they didn't have my email address when clearly they do - they have all my order information.. I would not recommend buying anything from them new or used. Honestly the worst CS I've ever dealt with. I'm surprised urlhasbeenblocked hasn't stepped in to help me yet. (I purchased an item on urlhasbeenblocked and the seller was dailysteals)
I just got these and I'll say that unless you add Google Play and launcher hijack FireOS on tablets feels exceptionally terrible. The tablet is about the same as using a 5 year old phone, between low res display, weak CPU, and low ram.
Only get these if you plan on using it for very limited things with very little multitasking.
not true. while it is very basic. it's more than good enough for kitchen for youtube, music, looking at security cameras, and recipes. i mount mine under the kitchen cabinet using this method https://youtu.be/HHPO6kgUb2s
tragic that the tablet is incompatible with some Google Play apps for whatever reason.
Too bad you are only limited to one. Had the 7 previously, but they broke (no case). Primary reason was to give it to my kids when they behave lol. Going to get one and side load it to install YouTube. If you are looking for a productive tablet this one is not it. However, I think it is a great deal if you are looking to have your kids occupied. Thanks OP. Miss the Amazon Deal and was looking out for this one.

Couldn't you just dispute it with your credit card company?

if it was running pure android on it that might be the case, but because of amazon most apps will not work before you know it. it's essentially a throw away pad.
When you go to a new product on Amazon and there's usually several other "vendors" for other prices and options for you to buy. Amazon Warehouse will be listed along with conditions like USED- Like New, Good, Acceptable, etc. Usually for Amazon products from Warehouse they come in very good to excellent condition (that's how I got a 10in for about $75ish, 2x 8in Fire tablets around $30ish.......and my Pixel 3 for $290 with tax). There's usually a 20% or more amazon warehouse sale that happens about once a quarter posted on slickdeals.

Hi, I'm sorry that this is dragging on. urlhasbeenblocked, like many marketplaces, hides your email from merchants to protect you. Our customer service team communicates with you via the urlhasbeenblocked messaging platform, which does not let us attach files. This is a frustrating limitation which causes unnecessary delays.
If you can take a moment and send me via Private Message your order number and a good email address to send you the return label, I can do so quite quickly and get this resolved.
