Well, what's the worst that can happen? Their list price is the same, they probably chalk it up to customer making a mistake. It's not like you claimed you're returning a $600 laptop, got refund, but put the $300 one in the box.

+1 I tested apex legends. It can do 30-40 fps at 720p on low settings/some mid. Id like to get additional 10-15 fps.

Would updating bios help? It looks like a complex install, does anyone know if there is a way to just toss it on a usb and install from usb (not formatting it)?

did anyone download the drivers on the page, are they actually newer, im talking about amd/etc. I donwloaded Ryzen Adrenaline tool as I couldnt figure out what to use to monitor this laptops performance.

but i still dont know how to get more juice out of it.


pros - its very light, good touchpad, good typing, and I type a lot.

bad - you can tell materials are second grade. It has more plastic/aluminum mix than macbook air (you can tell by how cold they get)

but damn, its so light, and it can actually kind of game. Pro evolution soccer ran at 720p/900p pretty good. Fifa would work too.

did anyone run any other games on it?

People who ordered the bundle, did you receive the battery pack along with the bag, I received mine without battery and I contacted support and they are resending replacement bag, I hope that comes with the battery. Anyone who received bag & battery with the bundle, can you please suggest if the bundle is worth that extra money?

I clean reinstalled windows because I thought something messed up when I tried to use radeon controller to up the max TDP. After it finished, I couldn't find the THX color profile in when you right click desktop and select display settings. I don't think it makes a huge difference but can someone share that color profile?

The FN+f5 button also stopped working. I'm not sure which driver I need to install to make that work again? I have both the user supplied drivers and the official motile drivers and I can't find the drive for the key mapping.

Does anyone know how to turn the fan off?
