Y'all have to pay attention to the soft "headers" that Amazon puts in your search results. See attached photo.

Also look out for "sponsored" items amidst your search results. These usually won't have the extra discount.

Pretty good deal on Apple Smart Battery cases for iPhone XS Max in black [amazon.com], around $40 after discount. For some reason white ones are considerably pricier. These are $129 retail, which is insane.
