Recently bought these from urlhasbeenblocked on Thanksgiving at roughly the same price ($120 for the Hard shell case and Powerbank bundle). For the price these are an absolute steal. I am loving the sound so far, they do have extra bass! FYI from various reviews complaining about the trash sound quality when used wired, I tried to test them by plugging in using the 3.5mm cable and they do sound awful but ONLY when they are powered off. If you turn them on and connect them using the wire, they sound amazing. Not sure why that's the case. Following are my thoughts on these,

Sound: 9/10 (I love the bass and the good thing is that the rest of the sound profile is maintained while proving extra bass)
Comfort: 8/10 (I liked it but not sure why people think these are very comfortable. I use them regularly while working out and found myself adjusting 2 times during my 60 minute workout)
Battery life: 10/10 (been using them for 10 days straight and the battery life still shows 30% (started off at 70% battery out of the box))
ANC: 7/10 (just okayish but this is the best you can get at this price point. It blocks out most of the surrounding noise to an extent and that works for me)

The Costco ones have more accurate sound. These are very bass heavy. Some people like that. The Costco ones apparently also have better noise cancellation.

costco's model sounds better IMO, this is the bass boosted version of that which sacrifices the higher frequencies for added bass.

For the price these are very solid if you like heavy bass headphones. I wouldnt call these basshead (I'm a basshead) but bass heavy. I come from high end headphones and iems and these have pretty good sq for a bluetooth set but bass is kinda on the boomy side, not unbearable though. Plus you can tune it with the sony app. I bought these for gym use and they have been great. NC isn't what I thought it would be (my first nc set) but with music on no noise is coming in. Bt range is amazing. I can leave my phone in the living room and walk to anywhere in my house and the signal won't drop. I can even go outside and start doing yard work and the signal is perfect. They are comfortable as hell and light but I dont see the ear pads to last very long with my kind of use. Time will tell with this. All in all great set. Might pick up another set if they ever drop lower than this price point.

Thanks for the info in for one. I used Google shopping through Target and got another $20 off with code HOLIDAY19. Will be using this for my morning train rides here in SF hope the NC helps but has to be better than the free iPhone ear buds.

The MX3's are much better in terms of sound quality, bass, ANC, and durability. I would save another 100 or so dollars and go for those.

Costco model sounds better, but I feel like these XB ones fit and feel better, especially after longer wear time. I bought them both from BB and Costco to test out and ended up keeping the BB one because of comfort. I'm not as picky about the bass though.
