First post..hope it hasn't been posted! Didn't see it if it has! Was looking to buy 3 months on mint mobile for my mom to try and looked at bestbuy to avoid fees. Planned on getting 8gb but the 12gb is marked at $30. Hope this saves some of you guys some money

    On Best buy website search for Mint mobile, it has text in small font size saying:
    New activation required and must be activated in 45 days of purchase.

    These require you to be new so can't add to existing accounts. The easiest way around this is to port your number to Google voice and link it to whatever prepaid number you have at the moment. (This works flawlessly to integrate gvoice to the dialer on Android, can't say if that is possible or tolerable on an iPhone)

    Yes you can, same limit of your high-speed data, once you run out of high speed data it's slower speeds but unlimited tethering as well👍

    i currently have a mint sim to use in Jan 2020 when my current 3month sub expires.
    i will use this for when that sim expires in April 2020 since i read Mint from BestBuy doesnt have the requirement that it MUST be activated within 45days else it loses ALL value.

    note: mint doesnt work at fort lauderdale airport and Lyft couldnt find a network connection when i was at Dulles airport, yet i could surf the web fine.
    (lyft works fine at my house with Mint.)

    alright looks like I am already 10 months into 2020 with all these deals going on between Black Wireless, RP Unlimited $10, and this.. i'm not home a lot lately and this will help me save a lot of $$$ over my home internet for $45 a month

    I recently activated a 3 month promo SIM from them that I bought nearly one year ago with no problems.

    A rep told me they say 45 days but they do it all the time. Also, he told me the real expiration date night be the one printed on the SIM, but even then he said to call and they might be able to extend it.

    Please confirm with a rep to your satisfaction but this was my experience.

    Grrr! I just bought this today, early this morning for $45 directly from Mint, it's for my daughter. That order already shipped. I might as well buy this for $30 too. I can just add this after and have 6 straight months right? It's not like a new person only price or anything is it? Repped!
