I was able to use these codes in the US by connecting to a Brazilian VPN via TunnelBear (free account) and redeeming using a browser in incognito mode. YMMV of course, but this method has worked for several others.
I purchased three codes, then converted to game pass ultimate for $1 more. $94.87 total. I'm subscribed to game pass ultimate now until 12/14/2022!

Just adding that you can only have up to 36 months banked in your XBL account at once, so plan accordingly. When you redeem the codes, there will be an option get get a free extra month with auto-bill. Be sure to turn this OFF if you plan on redeeming 3 codes, otherwise it will put you at 25 months after the second code and you won't be able to redeem the third.

As some users have pointed out, If you already have games pass ultimate, this won't convert 1:1. It seems that 12 months of XBL gold converts to 4 months of GPU if you've already subscribed, so optimally you want to get as close to 36 months as possible before you convert.

I have my Ultimate pass until June of 2020. Will buying a Gold extend the Ultimate Pass/Gold beyond when it expires?
You can purchase in any browser without a VPN. You only need a private browser and VPN connection when you go to redeem it. You don't have to change any Xbox console or account settings.
