I just bought the X10-4k for a little under $600. Seems like an incredible deal! be sure to go through the WOOT app and I think you must be an Amazon prime member for the deal % and free shipping. They are refurbished units with 90 day warranty.

You need look at the Ultra Short Throw ones (UST). I think it will be possible for about foot and half to two.
