As most of you know, I was lucky enough to win a free week at the Hyatt Regency [hyatt.com] in Waikiki (in a deluxe oceanfront room )
Leaving in 3 weeks, so I figure it's probably a good time to start planning some stuff out and at least outlining the stuff that shouldn't be missed, and also ask for suggestions on decent restaurants and any other tips anyone can think of.
I went ahead and bought the Entertainment Book with all of the coupons, but of course I haven't personally visited any of the places in it, so if it's possible to narrow down any great ones, that'd be wonderful.
Oh, and also highly considering the Go Oahu [smartdestinations.com] card (probably the 3 day one, which includes a bonus admission to Germaine's Luau or the Polynesian Cultural Center. Anyone been to these two places, and could say which is best?)
I think I'd definitely like to squeeze in the USS Arizona/Pearl Harbor tour (which is included with the Go Oahu card), and of course either one of the luaus or the PCC. Nowww you guys fill me in on the rest
Froggy, you told me to remind you to sit down and give me detailed info and tips, so here you go
I'm excited about getting lei'd

Pineapple's what are awesome?
Those were things we did on our honeymoon and had a blast.
And yeah, I think I'd like to go to the top of Diamond Head, supposed to be an awesome view of Waikiki and the mountains from there

Hanauma Bay, that's the place that's supposedly really nice for snorkeling, right? How much is the Submarine ride? I'd love to do a helicopter tour, but I think I looked it up a while back and it's like $175 pp...

I'm just saying, look at TigerStar the only time he gets laid is when his wife wants a new kid.

Of the other chicks? Sure Of me... Oh God no. I'm already sitting here trying to figure out how to lose about 1049732 lbs in 3 weeks
I've read mixed reviews of Germaine's. One of the pros is that it includes 2 drinks with the dinner, as opposed to the PCC, which has none

Hanauma Bay is the snorkeling site. Awesome. Just buy some cheap snorkel gear at an ABC store or something and enjoy the view.
Submarine ride was around $100/person but well worth it. It was with Atlantis.
