I have 2 of these exact monitors from the previous deal, and they DO Vesa mounting capability as that's how I have them mounted. There's even a pic in the listing that clearly shows the mounting holes on the back.

Great deal for qhd 144hz monitor. Only downside to this monitor is no vesa mount for future mounting possibilities

Is there any way to tell whether the FreeSync is over HDMI or only over DisplayPort?

I'm not sure about that but on the New Egg page under questions, it does say you can only get 144Hz with DisplayPort and that the cable is included, if that helps.

Under the specs tab, says you get 144hz with HDMI 2.0 as well.

In for two as I recently got the V277U from amazon at 200 per and still within return window!

Would this beat the Dell S2419HGF (1080p) for $99?

What's the difference between the posted monitor and this one:

The Dell model is 24", slightly smaller than this one at 27". Resolution is also significantly lower (1920 x 1080 vs 2560 x 1440). The Acer has speakers, the Dell does not. Dell has G-Sync, Acer has Freesync (which may work with G-Sync anyway). For another $150 I would probably go with the Acer, but if money is tight there isnt much wrong with the Dell if you dont mind less resolution and slightly smaller size.

Woops, I didn't click on the newegg link to check specs. 2k is noteworthy so it should have been in the thread title, IMO.

I have been using the 271U and the flickering issue is very annoying. However at 120Hz it is much better. Hope you guys don't get the same flickering issue for this 270U. Other than that it's a great monitor for the money.

Cheapest I've seen of a 27" 144hz 1440p IPS monitor besides that one flickering pixel monitor that kept popping up on SD. Any reason not to pull the trigger besides simple stand issues?
