It has been this price since dec 15th. Nevertheless, if you are on the market for hotstar subscription, this is one of the good deals not the best.

If you want YUPPTV along with hotstar, there is another deal going on as xmas deal.

Yes. I purchased it couple of months ago and intend to redeem in March. hotstar.tappp.com has more info.
From costco product page
How to Redeem:
Your confirmation email will include one PIN for the Annual Pack and one PIN for the Bonus month
If both PINS are being used by 1 person, Hotstar recommends redeeming the bonus month PIN first, then the annual PIN after BONUS month period ends
You may choose to gift one or more PINS to a family member or friend
Redeem PINS at hotstar.tappp.com

I mentioned this in earlier Costco Hotstar thread a week back:

You can make the Costco deal even sweeter by paying extra $30 to extend it for another 11 months. Basically when you buy from Costco, you will get two codes, one for 12 months subscription and second one for 1 month subscription. They suggest to first use the 1 month code and when you enter that at Hotstar site and go into your account, you will see that you are on monthly plan of $19.98. There you will have option to upgrade that to annual plan of $50 and with $20 credit, you will need to pay just $30 to convert it for whole year. Once that year exhausts, you can use the second one year code from Costco.

So net net, you will get total 2 years service for $50 (what you pay to Costco) + $30 (what you pay to Hotstar) = $80.

Or buy discounted iTunes gift card (15-20% on sale multiples times during the year, including on Costco) and directly subscribe in app for $50/year using iTunes funds.

For those new to hotstar, it is owned by star India which is now a subsidiary of Disney. You are in good hands. Last year it was free after $50 amazon gift card. about to extend using this deal. Thanks op repped.
