The only non-stop flights are on Level, Iberia's lowcost carrier, that has pretty bad word of mouth. Other carriers listed have a stop. Best bet for nonstop to Barcelona is on Norwegian, also budget but better rep than Level.

Most of the complaints regarding budget airline are from passengers expecting a $3000 experience for $300.

I tried Level PE it wasn't bad, and it wasn't spectacular, at least the plane was new. The crews from check in and boarding and even the flight attendants were the same people. Can't really complain, the cost was $200ish round trip to BCN, can't get any cheaper,

Level/ Iberia was awesome. I had to pay for bags and meals, but the flight was a new A350, comfortable, convenient. We brought our own meals on board, everything else was awesome.

Crew was friendly, can't expect much more for a $300, 12 hour flight to BCN, Spain was awesome to travel to.

52 reviews. You can't judge an airline based on the opinion of 52 people. If you check different sites every airline has complaints somewhere.

$300 for a non stop no frills flight across the world is uneatable anyway you look at it.

A great deal, TU!
At this price, with DIRECT flights, I don't mind skipping the airplane meals.

I read the airline reviews, and it seems to me that most are not particular to Level. For example, a name mismatch between the ticket reservation and passport would cause checkin issues on any airline. Similarly, the complaint about economy class passengers not being able to use the premium class toilets is a rule enforced by all airlines. And on it goes...

My family of 4 flew level nonstop from LA to Barcelona and I have no complaints. We travel light (1 carry on travel backpack each), brought our own food and water bottles. We arrived early at check in and they seated us together. it was about $400 roundtrip when other airlines were charging over $1,000. worth it 👍
