These are horrible stories with beautiful illustrations. Buy them and make up your own stories. Really, they are truly awful... And very long / arduous.

My daughter is 2 and just got the Pooh Bear version of this. She loves it. It also helps with us teaching her about things like patience, babysitters and such. For $6 after tax I'll give this version a try.

They are decent stories. We have other Pixar and Disney books and while they are not the most exciting compared to the actual movies, they hold enough interest for the kids. They are also good for young readers. My 1st grade son can read through an entire story on his own with minor assistance and it's a reasonable length for him to get through in one sitting.

We have several of these books and they are solid, they keep our little ones interested in the short stories. My only complaint is that unless you speed read through the stories, which imho defeats reading to a child, they are 7 to 8 minute stories, not 5 minutes.

My son loves these. I usually get whatever they have on BF at Walmart or Target. Two of these a night and they read pretty fast.

YMMV, but I've seen several books from this series on the clearance end-caps in Target (usually located near electronics) for ~$3
