It's not levels, it's just different sizes and shapes. Get the one that fits your appliance. Vic is wrong.
I've used generic filters and even counterfeit Everydrop filters and the water tasted horrible. Take it from my mistakes: it's not worth being a cheapskate when it comes to these type of filters.
each number fits different fridges, some filter more some filter less as they only squeeze in so much filter rmaterial and this was $29.99 on woot a while ago for a reference point.

There's so much misinformation out there it's hard to trust. When it comes to something that you put in your body it's just safer to go with a brand that literally comes with the OEM fridge especially if the alternatives are only $10 cheaper.

Nah, I'll just apply the difference in savings towards any future cancer treatments. Am I rite?

I usually buy the filters on ebay slightly cheaper and should be the same thing: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/...3312741132

My Whirlpool refrigerator uses the "Filter 2", which I never ever see on sale. At $50 each it's such a rip-off it kills me.

My fridge uses the same filter #2. No deals is a bummer.

Anybody use the filter 4 and have the issue with slow output? The problem is stated in several forums and most say it's due to a design change of the newer filters but no good solutions or response from Whirlpool.
