    I saw this recently as well and am contemplating pulling the trigger. Two negative things I've heard are motor failures being more common than expected and the guard is so small that it whips a lot of debris at your legs.

    I actually spent the $18 and got the 2 year extended warranty on this. Hopefully I don't have to use it.

    Not showing up at that price at any of the local HD stores here in the SA area. BS says they are on clearance without a price, but the HD website is showing it at $199. Probably not worth driving to the store.

    For some reason brickseek is not showing a price in my area. It just says clearance. Is anyone else having this issue, or just a random bug.

    that's just the way brick shows home depot clearance. I can't recall an HD clearance that did show the price.

    Have this. I hated the factory head. Always got the string knotted up. I threw it across the yard in anger many times. Replaced the head with a quick load head and now I love it.

    $99 in 80023, was in-store looking for the $99 Ryobi and this Dewalt was right next to it. No brainer to go with Dewalt.

    Calling the store may or may not work depending on how lazy customer service is. They dont know the difference between clearance and internet-only inverntory.

    picked one up today and saw 3 of them on shelf. they are advertised in the store for that price so I doubt it'll last.
