Was able to snag JFK-SIN-DEL-HND-NRT-JFK $530 on ANA/SQ thru July!!
You will have to manipulate dates on skyscanner then book through ota, there are less then credible booking ota, look on TripAdvisor many negative reviews on some, but Expedia, Travelocity, IndianEagle are fine. Also check ANA website directly as fares are the same, sadly wouldn't process my cc so had to go through ota. Also Expedia may have cash back on some sites.

No, that's not true
The new law discriminates travellers by religion. Also, overstaying costs way more for anyone who is not a hindu. My friend overstayed by 5hrs because Indian Airlines screwed her by overbooking and she paid the price. Its best to avoid India for anyone who is not indian citizen or not a hindu.
