Way too short-lived. Ended up getting the Taco Cabana deal instead, fell asleep at home after running a bunch of errands, and woke up just before midnight. So we missed out on this.

Last time we went there to get the 1/2 off breakfast sandwich (or maybe it was the burger on Texas Toast), we also got their loaded breakfast burrito, which is similar to Jack in the Box's, but they farked the order up. Twice. Didn't put tots in the burrito, forgot several sauce packets, didn't add any of the free veggies we'd requested to either the sandwich or the burrito (tomatoes, pickles, caramelized onions), and left the sauce off one of the items.

We went back after grocery shopping to complain. So the manager was kind and accommodating. Had the whole order remade. Using the same ticket/receipt from our first order that lists all the various sauces, modifications, add-ons, etc. Tomato on the sandwich this time but still nothing on the burrito....not even the hash brown nuggets that are *supposed* to be in the burrito. By default.

The runner on the second, comped order didn't even know what Picante sauce was. It's salsa. It's listed + displayed on their app. Ideal for their breakfast burritos. First she said they didn't exist and that she'd never seen them, after forgetting to bring any. She then claimed that this elusive picante option was the *same* as their orange/house/chipotle/special sauce....even though they're very clearly distinct from one another. As evidenced by the Sonic app or a very quick Google search.

Long story shorter, we didn't think they could possibly screw up the same exact order, when the manager himself came outside to speak with us. Giving us a free redo, remaking from the original [very detailed and specific] ticket, and presumably instructing his staffers to avoid the same mistakes... Not repeat them all. We were wrong, but had already made it back home. Had we paid for the redo and/or still been hungry I'd have burned rubber peeling outta our parking lot.

Dude was spared an earful, buttt I'm warning y'all: beware their breakfast crew. They ain't happy being awake so early in the day... When most ppl are actually grabbing breakfast. Yer best best, when ordering anything with egg in it, is to go late at night. Like their stoned regulars do.
