Just got back from Office Depot, I was picking up an online order. I was on my was to the register when I noticed a clearance table with a few odds and ends on it. Then I noticed they had two 250GB Evo 860's sitting there marked down from $69.99 to $27.93. I know a lot of you will scoff at the idea of a small drive, but for me this was perfect and the price seemed too good to pass up.

Office Depot stock # 5245784, UPC # 887276232317. Model is MZ-76E250

Good post, and an acceptable price if all you have is $28 to spend.

However, the 500gb was $57 and $59 several times leading up to Christmas - I jumped on one of those as a stocking stuffer.

I assume that stockings around your area are rectangular and have SATA connectors?

No, just regular Christmas stockings, hung by the chimney with care.

However, 30' away is PC with a brimming full hard drive with a bloated Origin folder. This resolved that issue nicely. Kiddo was happy.

Might be worth politely calling the 800# to see if they can substitute a similar model/product. I had good results after missing a Black Friday WD 4TB 2.5" deal. They were able to substitute the Mac version for me.
