Darn. I was waiting for this 10" battery power miter saw to go on sale for a long time. Bought a Metabo and Kobalt battery power miter saw just just this past few weeks.
Due to this post I thought "gee, I wonder how many hundreds of miles I'd have to drive to find a store". Turns out I've got one 15min away. So thanks for that OP!
Was it mainly Ryobi stuff, or was there some Rigid in your store?
Wish they had one of these on the west coast, but rents here in CA would probably wreck their profit margins!
You have other chains on the West coast. DTO would do the same as the rest and just price everything higher out there. They're not that huge of a chain anyway so you're not alone. Not like Harbor Freight who have like 1000 stores and keep growing.
I considered moving to CA for the weather (I seem to remember Dr Dre and Kendrick Lamar mentioning a couple other things that keep people happy there, what were they?). Too bad my company doesn't exist there either, and I'm leary about over spending on a house while working a new job. No idea how people do it there.
It was mostly everything in the store, including Ryobi and Ridgid.
I am on vacation, so it was so hard not to overbuy at the store. I only have so much space to take stuff home, but I have never seen a deal like this.
In addition to the tools above, I got the following Factory Blemished tools:

Thanks a lot, bro. I walked into the store and somebody said, "Sorry, sir, we're fresh out of tools. Some guy named Tom or something just cleaned us out, and while he was grabbing everything in sight his wife was asking around about good local attorneys."
This deal was everything that did not have a Red Dot. This eliminated about half or better of the accessories.
It also did not include the pre-owned tools and batteries.
What you could get was pretty much all factory blemished tools.
I should add that the store had not really had time to restock after Christmas.
Having said all that, there were some great deals to be had on tools.
