So for example it will work with a T-Mobile SIM, because those APNs are pre-loaded correctly.
I also have an at&t data sim, which doesn't work because it uses the broadband APN, and it defaults to the phone one, and won't let me add a new one, edit it, change it or modify it. This sim works fine in any other phone that lets me edit the APN (even iPhones!), but not here.
Huge YMMV if you're planning to use this with an MVNO like metro, Cricket or a Tracfone brand that doesn't use a standard APN.
So if you're thinking of using this abroad, you are taking a gamble, as to whether or not they will have the right APN loaded for your carrier,. if at all.
EDIT: Also the reason I have 2, is because I broke a sim tool with it stuck in the hole on the first one and had to disassemble it to remove the sim card slot. BE VERY CAREFUL. DO NOT PUSH IN like you normally would on other phones. Once you find the right tool (most normal sim card tools won't work; it's slightly too big for the hole, you need something smaller), you insert in slightly until it stops, and you want to angle it and push up (not in), the sim tray will ever so slightly come out, and you continue to push up, and use your tool to grip it and pull the tray out. It will feel like it kind of hooks onto something, and you will be able to remove the tray.
You can watch this video to get an idea, but I would NOT use the flat staple she's kind of using as that broke and got jammed for me the first time I tried it.
