I had difficulties getting this printer to work wirelessly with a Raspberry Pi using CUPS, as well. Apparently, the driver does not come with the normal raspbian or cups packages, and I almost gave up.

However, there is a working driver here:
https://github.com/pdewacht/brlaser

To install it, just ssh to your raspberry pi after cups is set up. Then, type the following commands:

sudo apt update
sudo apt install printer-driver-brlaser

After this driver is downloaded and installed, you should be able to point the cups admin panel to the working driver (HL-L2300D).

Thanks to my raspberry pi, I've been using this printer wirelessly since November. It's a great machine.

Coupon applies but discount doesn't show. Says not qualified . Total is over $60 pre tax. Are you sure you can use that code on discounted items like the printer?

I was able to score a HL-L2370 last week with a $50 off coupon and the final price came out to be $55ish with CA Tax. HL-L2320 is a decent printer too!

Just like the Staples paper deal, just go to checkout, the coupon will be reflected there.

Good price. Seems to be a stand-alone printer connected by USB - can someone confirm. It indicated "Wired" under the "Wireless" category.

The toner is cheap (if you buy generic from Amazon)

Very good deal considering that 3rd party cheap toner is available for this model. Some new Brother printers (particularly color laser ones) only work with genuine $95 toner cartridges.

Have had this for years and still going strong. Inexpensive (and common) toner replacements available on amazon!

Good thing about this printer it is pretty small, bad thing about this is using USB, no wireless, so no go for me.
