$500 seems like that should be a normal price for this laptop. Good job dell at making people think $500 is a front page deal on a product that should never be listed over $500.
FYI, it's easy to upgrade the SSD and memory in this laptop: https://jameshasanswers.com/how-t...00-2-in-1/
Slap an apple sticker on it and you can sell it for $2K

Great just snagged one to replace my old work laptop. Don't need anything too powerful but this will do everything I need at a reasonable price.

How many nits? Didn't see it listed, seems like many of the lenovo flex slickdeals always have people complaining that brightness isn't great which is measured in nits

No usb-c power connector, proprietary Dell.

Most 15" are still using traditional a\c adapters

If you get a 45W+ usb-c charger, it is Type-C w/ PD so it will charge via usb-c!

I have the 13" 7000 inspiron 8th gen and the screen is decently bright, not enough to make you recoil though. I heard QC is pretty bad and some screens are brighter than others though...

Seems like the same laptop reviewed here with just 243 nits: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www....-in-1-2018
