this shelf has junky reviews compared to HDX. I'm looking for a couple, but can wait on a better deal. Looked in Costco but didn't see any plastic shelves.
Would be nice to get good deal on one of those commanders at Lowe's.

Is this shelf any good compared to other plastic shelves? I'm looking for a couple, but can wait on a decent deal. Looked in Costco but didn't see any.
Home Depot and Lowe's all have their own brands of plastic shelves and you can get them for under $20 from time to time, but the weight limit is normally ~60lbs per shelf.
I did see a very nice metal shelving at Costco today for $50 (down from $70), per shelf weight limit is 650lbs if I'm not mistaken. So if you need to store heavy items that one is definitely a solid buy.

I'm not planning on putting a ton of weight on them. Maybe a couple shopvacs and some of those 28 gal plastic totes. Wouldn't be over 100 pounds an entire unit really. The stuff is bulky but not real heavy. But, I'll keep looking. I'll grab hdx, blue hawk or commander, these look like the bottom of the barrel to me. I'm putting up a plastic shed so I just wanted a couple plastic shelves.

Same price as the Amazon deal (which has expired): https://slickdeals.net/f/13784540-36-x72-x18-sandusky-lee-plastic-shelving-unit-27-62-free-s-h?src=S...

Chooser "Ship to Store for free pick-up". Link:
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Sandu.../301364253

72x36x24 is also available for $39.90 but for me the cheaper one is a better deal.
Amazon deal is not expired or it came back.

Great reviews on HD's website and Amazon. Not sure what you're talking about.

Well if Fakespot is still a thing, it rates it a F. Not that you have to trust that site, but in looking through Amazon, there's plenty of critical reviews about quality. Some people might not even care about the quality and still rate it highly. There's literally an image from a 5 star review and you can see how warped the vertical plastic supports are. So really, to each their own.

My problem is, I rarely go in Costco because 90% of the time I walk out with nothing. Going through that place is a pita if you're looking for something specific. They either don't have it, or they did have it but sold out. Perhaps someone will post this when it comes around again, because i won't be finding it. I can't find anything there but the hotdog booth.

I bought 2 of those this week, and they're great in the garage. I'm in Florida and don't want plastic. Bigger than these too. 48" wide.

150lb rated shelf capacity.

About 2 months ago I picked up a clone/copy at Menards [menards.com] on sale for ~$25 and; for whatever it's worth; I'm satisfied so far. I haven't maxed out the load but it's held 75+ lbs on a couple shelves with no issue. The real test will be seeing how it handles insane Midwest winter thaw/freeze cycles w/potential flooding.

PS: I know Menards is a POS company but it's quite literally the only big home improvement store within a reasonable driving distance. Closest HD is about 15 miles and the only local Lowes closed this year so I'm stuck with it.
