Faster processor (i7 here vs i5)
16gb of ram vs 8gb in the GF65.
17.3" screen vs 15.6" (but also about a pound heavier than the GF65)
Everything else is pretty similar or the same (GPU, SSD)

IPS-Level = AHVA, which is just Auoptronic's naming for IPS.
There is no such thing as IPS-Level, it's just IPS.
No one has ever tried to pass off TN as IPS, (YET)
But they probably won't, because believe it or not, the cost to produce is approximately the same

My only complaints are that the speakers don't get QUITE loud enough for my preference, and I oddly miss a multicolor-changing keyboard.

Do those things justify the $200 increase? The screen size and weight aren't important to me.
Absolutely.
If not, then heck no, $200 can buy a 43 inch TV, that 17 inch is worth jack diddly
The + 8gb ram is worth $20-30

Assume you will have to follow the YouTube videos, de-soldering the bios to reflash it and then solder it back in.
I will never buy MSI ever again.
