Already pointed out by someone else that the posting says managed switch while the AMAZON page contradicts itself....in the photo it says "unmanaged switch" and in the printed description is says it is a "smart plus" switch... DEFINITION OF A SMART SWITCH GOES SOMETHING LIKE THIS: A Smart Switch is a 'lighter' version of a fully Managed Switch that offers additional features on different levels for security, quality of service, monitoring, analysis, VLANs etc, but are not very scalable. This is a more cost-effective version of a fully Managed Switch and can be used for less complex networks.

Linked to a photo grab from the AMAZON listing -- once again a confusing post (not necessarily the fault of the original poster though content on his post here also contradicts itself) because what is described and what you may get is 2 different things based upon the confusing AMAZON listing: http://www.knarfoh.com/netgear.jpg

So is this an UNMANAGED SWITCH? or a SMART MANAGED SWITCH? or a MANAGED SWITCH? Based on the post (here and AMAZON's website) you don't know since the posts contradict each other and themselves...

Amazon might have this wrong in the title; the title says it is managed while the section "From the manufacturer" says it is unmanaged.

I'm fairly certain this doesn't support link aggregation. The feature table says that only 16 port and larger Smart Managed Plus switches feature Network Control (Basic VLAN, QoS, IGMP, Link Aggregation).

1 to 2 month shipping time seems a bit crazy, but I ordered one. I could need one in a month, and it might not be on sale then... I have a shopping problem... thanks Slickdeals.
