solid price on these, I pay more at grocery store for the regular version with 26 g protein/11 oz, far tastier than premier or Muscle Milk imo.

Only way to get the calories down and keep the taste. They changed the formulation of core power about a year ago.

Still better tasting IMO than the alternatives....

42g of protein per bottle with 240 calories is much lower & better than most 32g protein bars out there! Picked one up to try, thx OP!

I dont know why people fall for the "high protein" thing. Its not like your body can process 42g of protein per hour.
Quote from Schakira :
You pay for 42g Protein but your body can only process 25g so the rest is excreted. Why pay for excess?
Pay what for excess? With this deal, these are cheaper than the regular Core Power drinks with 26g of protein. Those are the ones I usually get, but when these are cheaper, why not? It's not like more protein is going to hurt.

And if you to maximize protein absorption, just drink half with your post-workout meal then the other half a couple hours later with a snack. Makes them even more economical.

Just a heads up to check out protein drink tests regarding metals, musclemilk had some of the highest amounts. I haven't seen anything on these protein shakes and dont think that info is out there. But the results I saw on musclemilk were enough to stop me from drinking them

This is a good site to check testing on nutritional supplements - https://labdoor.com/rankings.
