I got this from Google deal for $2345 last year. I can tell you that this is one of the best Macs I've ever owned and my Mac laptop usage started with PowerBook 165c.
Don't believe those who says 16Gb RAM is not enough - it's plenty for 95% of people, the other 5% who really need more will get their employers pay for it anyway.

He's suggesting that you should get at least 32 GB of RAM in general because RAM is not upgradable at a later time.
