I think the one at bestbuy is an older model. The new one though very similar in other aspects has better brightness. Without any deal that one is $350.
I paid $370 for it. Differences that I can see off the bat is the MPG has the led bar on the bottom, and the stand has a 3rd leg( which I hate as it stands about 10 inches off wall ).
The led bar on the bottom is nice, you can have it go through colors and such but the best use is turning it to audio where it will light up on sound detected and the louder the sound is the more it lights up. It'll also light up in the direction the sound was detected. Very handy..
I do have a issue where it doesn't go to standby properly all the time but MSI said I would have to return it to fix it.
Being that I think the MPG and MAG are identical outside these 2 things, I can say I LOVE this monitor. I would still pay extra for the MPG functions though.

So the dell gsync one that was 300 last week? This one is better? Asking cause my dell unit arrives Thursday and I'll return it for this lol.
