Though the Surface 6 is a good deal now, the USB c port on the surface 7 is super useful as you could use it to charge the tablet and also to connect more peripherals to it. You could pick a bundle for 100 bucks minus the pen https://www.adorama.com/miqwu00001.html

Yeah actually USB-C is a biggish difference. I somehow did not notice it before. Thanks for pointing that out.
On the other hand, $100 + pen ($40) + tax ($15) is more like $150 difference. Significant actually. But SP7 is an upgrade (USB-C, processing power) for certain. Not much difference otherwise. Do you think its worth $150 for SP7?

I think, that's subjective. For me Surface 7 was the way to go because I am finally in a position where I need to only travel with one charger to charge my phone, my wife's phone, a MacBook and the Surface 7 with one Mac usbc charger.

I think it is. Connecting a usb-c hub that connects to two monitors is awesome.
