Showing 5 in store in Sterling, VA for $51.60 each plus 10% military discount. That brings it down to $46.44 each before tax.

Was about to say. I remember looking it up on SD while in the store, and that was like 3-4 weeks ago.

I did a search before posting and they all showed expired. I figured since it was live on the website and brickseek shows inventory, it should get posted for those interested.

I picked up the Kobalt 80v straight string trimmer (bare tool) for $20 last week in Lowe's store. It was on a clearance rack in the middle of the store with other miscellaneous items that the manager was trying to clear out.

Some of the other clearance items were after-Xmas returns, while many other items were randomly placed there by the manager and employees to make room for new products. They had everything from marble tile to carpet remnants for 80-90% off.

I realize it's a huge YMMV, but I'm just posting this in case you happen to be at your local Lowe's. Ask the manager if they have a clearance rack. You may find something good for cheap. Good luck.

i would stay away from kobalt all together. lows and kobalt are not playing together anymore and you will be left behind with the already shady warranty process.

two thumbs down
