First of all, you will need a CVS ExtraCare card. This is obtained easily at any store at the register. Some will ask you to fill out the form then and there, others will just give you the card and ask you to return the form later.

Once you have the card, you can now start CVSing

The biggest thing to understand is that CVS uses a promotional program called "ExtraCare Bucks" (commonly abbreviated as ECBs.) These print out on your receipt immediately once you purchase an item offering them; almost like an instant-rebate you get at the register. You can turn around and use them anytime on almost anything in the store, except for alcohol, cigarettes, and gift cards.

Often, CVS advertises items as "Free after ECB" – For example, throughout the month of November, CVS has Crest Pro Health Whitening Toothpaste in 4.2 oz size, for free after ECB. The cost is $3.49, but you get $3.49 back instantly on your receipt. The best part is that there are often coupons available that can actually help you earn money… like for the above toothpaste, there are $1 off coupons available, meaning the item would be $2.49, but you get $3.49 in ECBs back. The limit on this toothpaste for this month is 2. So if you wanted to start off small to get into CVSing, the thing to do would be to buy one toothpaste in the first transaction (and use a coupon if you have one, so that you either pay $3.49 or $2.49 in cash), then use the $3.49 ECBs you get back from that first transaction to pay for the second tube of toothpaste, and again, receive $3.49 more in ECBs.

The trick now is to roll your ECBs so that you rarely pay more than maybe a dollar or two in tax on transactions, instead using your ECBs from previous transactions… then earning more to keep doing the same. It's a cycle (and a game/addiction to some, lol.)

No, on my kids, for some reason....ticks just crawl down their pants. Doh His 12 year old brother....scratches himself all of the time. I told him to keep his friggin hands off his junk around me.

I'm not sure. He (the surgeon) didn't talk about that. He said they'd remove the upper layer that's dead and then change the dressing a couple times a day and patting it down with antibiotic cream or something (hopefully not alcohol, lol). I don't know how deep they might have to go. I'm sorta nervous but figure I'll at least get some more pain meds out of it, lol. If they Do do it...I hope they knock me out.

Is he gonna be embarrassed showing it to the Dr or will he be like "Here's my bite!!" lol. It's probably more swollen because of where the bite is maybe. Ouch...I don't even have a penis and it sounds like that would hurt.

I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOO glad I don't really deal with ticks. YUCK! They creep me out. I think I've seen a total of 3 on my kids but none that were in them. They were just crawling on them. M had one crawling down her cheep two weeks ago, which was VERY rare. I could never pull one out that was in my kids.

We treated our yard, but not FIL's yard, and obviously not the WOODS...So, we had to explain to him why he needed to stay in OUR yard.

Well, I don't know...because up until a few years ago, I'm pretty sure ROBERT would have flopped it out if someone dared him.


Speaking of FIL....since he was sick several years ago (and to be fair, he almost died) he has gotten his kids (except Robert) wrapped around his fingers. He's not supposed to work, but he does..In fact, he pretty much does whatever he wants. Problem is, he doesn't WANT to do anything. He has his kids/grandkids coming over and mowing his yard, his daughter cleans his nasty house, he even has Robert's brother drive him to the dr in Nashville when he goes. He doesn't HAVE to go to Nashville, but he doesn't "trust" dr's here. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) What really ticked me off was yesterday, he was out running around and had my nephew and my kids cutting down thorn bushes. Robert told them not to go over there anymore. We didn't treat that yard, and the kids are obviously semi-allergic to bites. He said he works and does whatever he wants and he can do his own stuff. (Used to, Robert didn't mind helping until he took full advantage of it and never lifted a finger for himself). Robert said HE (Robert) works full time and sometimes up to 70 hours a week and we still do our stuff....He's just getting on my nerves how he takes advantage of people...and now the KIDS!

Usually we use Sevin dust or whatever it's called...it kills fleas, ticks, ants, etc...this year we tried something different...I can't remember the name, it's MAX something...it's in the lawn and garden section of Walmart. We bought a spreader (hand crank) and Robert just walks back and forth across the yard spreading it. We rarely have bugs in our yard. We do get mosquitoes, but we are working on that. (emptying all standing water, etc)
