In my Midwest area, Tractor Supply and Rural King have the best seed prices. I think it's best to go with black sunflower seed only, as it won't attract the invasive HS as much. All the natives around seem to have no problwm just eating sunflower. A Finch sock feeder of nijer seed is also great. And suet hanging upside down (HS & starlings have problems eating upside down) for the peckers.
