the ignorance definitely shows 🙉
I have owned this for a week and some info to save people time.
The machine will run with 2x 32gb ram sticks for a total of 64gb of ram. I pulled the original 1tb m.2 ssd for a 2 matching samsung nvme 512gb drives. If you remove the 2.5" hard drive cage you can put in a bigger 62whr battery that eluktronics sells. I opted to use my maxoak powerbank instead which is about the same price as the extended battery but gives me a good 10+ hours of use on the go. The laptop is very close to a standard 15.6" laptop frame size so it fits in my timbuk2 backpack that isn't meant for 17" laptops.

The case itself is a metal lid and plastic body. The body is a very strong plastic as it has the same or less flex as my thinkpad P50. For what you get the machine can't be beat.
And that mx150 is barely a step above integrated graphics these days.

There is another thread here from about a week ago with lots of useful info about this great laptop. I bought last week and have to say it is a great laptop. The 144hz screen on mine is bright, crisp and buttery smooth.

Shit I just bought it the other day and got it in the mail yesterday. Is there a time frame for price match?

HEHEHE, Buying Electronics at Wally World, Wow. PASS.
Their return policy is way better than best buy, i definitely prefer walmart over bb, even sams/costco... well, i guess i dont like BB at all .
But i have had no issues with walmart with electronics.

Damn. Wish there was a way to get Amazon to price match or something similar, I am in need of a real gaming laptop, but I can only get one from Amazon due to having credit on there plus some gift cards...looks like I'll have to wait? Unless someone experienced can tell that this is immediately worth putting up $1,000 out of pocket + tax...? I need a laptop that can seamlessly handle high-end triple AAA gaming, such as GTA V, Devil may cry 5, Far Cry 5, Doom, etc. Also looking to be able to stream/watch movies/TV shows in high quality, hopefully with good battery life-not needing to have it plugged in every 2-3 hours. Can anyone give me some input or feedback?
I think pretty much all the 2k nvidia series + at least 8gb of ram and at least i5 can run those games , i can play them with an MSI i got in 2015 with a 980m nvidia pretty good on very high and ultra settings fhd.

Under Walmart's generous holiday return policy, I just returned the one I got on BF that had a defective SD port & got another. Except for that one issue, I've been very happy with the quality, fit & finish of both.

This is based on a popular chasis so replacement keyboards, touchpads, etc. are easy to find. It also has (2) M.2 & (1) SSD slot which is important for my video editing work. Prior to this I have been using an old Dell XPS that is on its 4th keyboard & 3rd touchpad... I got my son a HP Omen 15 with 1660ti & TB3 for $900, $100 more than the Evoo 15, so we'll see how they both hold-up over time. I would have gotten him an Evoo too, but he needs a much quieter keyboard for school...

For both laptops, I purchased 3 years of SquareTrade protection for just $88 more. BB, etc. want much more for their plans...

I have been using this a few days now and I am quite impressed. It is super light and doesn't run hot even while gaming.

I've been searching for a decent video editing laptop (can't do desktops at this moment). Would this be a good laptop to edit videos? I keep reading all I really need is 16gb ram and 1tb ssd to get started. Thanks.

I keep thinking about getting this laptop every time it comes up and I am very close this time. Do you recommend getting the 3 year Allstate warranty for $88? Anyone have experience actually making a claim via Allstate?

I bought this laptop earlier in the week. I'm actually happy with the quality and performance. Really didn't think I'd ever buy a Walmart laptop.

Looking at mine now; Chicony Power Technology. 19.5v output 11.8a 230 watt. I got this laptop about two months ago when it was this price. Amazing price for this laptop. Well worth it. Two m.2 slots inside + 1 2.5" hdd. I have, in mine, 2 1tb m.2's and 1 2tb 2.5". Laptop is very strong/durable. I can't recommend it enough!
