Getting ready for 25 comments asking if this has a second RAM slot...

I will save you all the hassle, it does NOT have a second slot for RAM. RAM is single channel/slot only.

Coupon is a single use Walmart.com 10% off up to $20 max possibly for sale on eBay at any given time.

Some people received the coupon in snail mail and are reselling them online.
Ok, thanks. When I searched "walmart coupon" on eBay before there were only two results, both for groceries. Now someone just posted a 10% coupon for $10 so I'm not sure it's worth the hassle (unclear whether the coupon is actually sent through the mail or electronically).

1 year parts, 90 days labor. The Walmart plan may be worth it (2 years for $40, not sure if 3 years is an option) as it includes accidental damage coverage.
Thanks for the info!

Yeah, it's a lower value proposition when the seller is asking that much for a coupon.

Yeah, I looked at past sales and they are usually in the $2-$3 range. F $10 for one.

I have the Ryzen 5 model (M142) and have been incredibly happy with it (typing on it right now). Highlights:

- Price
- Form-factor (incredibly light, punches above its weight in quality)
- Runs Ubuntu Linux perfectly [reddit.com]
- Very easy to upgrade (six screws on the back cover)

Highly-recommend. Yeah, I know, who's Motile? It's a cross-marketing product between Walmart and THX, with a Tongfang whitelabel laptop. Again, I've been very happy with mine over the last week.
You know for sure this is a Tongfang? For me, that's a huge plus.

Is it true Walmart will not price match their own price? I ordered one for $210 a few days back and it will arrive for store pickup tomorrow. I'm thinking about cancelling and reordering.

Edit: Never mind they took care of it. I was confused because of this. "Sorry, we don't match:
Items purchased from Walmart.com that later decrease in price"

No, a price point was hit. Do I think this would be better at $249 with 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD? Sure. $300 for this laptop with 16GB RAM, 512GB Nvme and better Wi-Fi? I'm game, and it saves a bit of time swapping stuff around. But for what it is and what it costs, it's a screaming deal.
Yes. Before Christmas, I bought the Asus 14" from Staples via SD at $200. w/ the same specs. Lots of SDers panned the screen resolution. And then 4 RAM and 128 SSD not being sufficient and the Ryzen 3..........and on and on and on. As Gilda said, "it's always something". Lord knows, it's 200 bucks, and look what you are getting for such a sum. My Asus does all I wish to do (not a gamer, an old man) and does it rapidly. I'm just tickled to death w/ it.

SDers on previous posts say that black is the one to get, it seems, as you get the most benefit from the backlit keyboard.

Why the hell are people with the r5 ryzen motiles even commenting on this. It's a completely different laptop. The only thing that is the same is the brand so just comment on that. Stop posting about performance. You are just adding confusing to chaos.

Over the years I've purchased many Chinese Laptops for family and kids from Chinese retailers. Brands most have never heard of like Teclast, Jumper, Cube, Onda, etc. And for what you get for the price they did the job. However, this laptop with its faster 2 day shipping (opposed to weeks direct from China) is truly worth every dollar. I have many desktops and laptops for business, work, video editing, and build my own gaming desktops having built over a dozen. In summary, I am fussy as to what I purchase, configure and build. That being said, this is a terrific buy for the money for an extra spare or travel laptop for simple pc tasks and I have two of them. One is fine as is and the other I added memory, wifi card and an extra SSD that I had on hand.
