If the motile 14 R5 still available @299, then it's a debate. & I think the Motile will win. Motile has better screen, lighter and better battery life. This has expandable ram, bigger screen (good or bad), and somewhat more name recognition. However, the motile R5 is no longer available at 299 (it's 399 now), which made this undebatable better deal. I also want to say this is better deal than motile R3 @199. Because for 100 more, you get R5, 4g more ram (plus expandable), Vega 8 (vs. Vega 3) & 128g more storage. It's the slickest deal currently available.

Looks as good as the Motile system from Walmart. Also seems like this too only has a single RAM slot for upgrades. What's up with that?

Ah okay. Thanks for clearing that up! Assuming one can look past the TN panel and don't mind the larger size, this might be a better overall system than the Motile.

Seems like if you can wait for the Motile to dip back down to $300, then this is more of an okay deal in comparison. Based on the YouTube review for this particular model, it's been at this price for at least a month or so now. Probably not going anywhere anytime soon.
