Is there a way to pull up a link with all the tools that qualify? When I click on the promo link on the product page it just shows a tiny window with tons of SKU numbers.

Well when going through the huge list of basically all Milwaukee tools I noticed this wire stripper for $25 that also has the banner on the picture. Might be a good filler if you can't reach a particular threshold.
It wouldn't have come up using your search but your search is still helpful. I just wish Home Depot would have a link to a direct list with the given SKUs
edit: That appears to be a different promo only dealing with hand tools so nevermind

I'm pretty inexperienced with nailers. I'm not trying to frame a house but would this Gen 2 nailer be good for making shelves and such? Or anything involving 1x4, 1x6, 1x8 wood?
Maybe the price of the nailer went down by $10 to screw with people but your two items only total $498 right now

The nailer still shows as $289 for me and the other tool is at $219. I'm going to return the $219 tool and keep the nailer.
I searched Milwaukee tools and did a price range of $210-220 and it'll give you the list. Then just look for the "buy more, save more" logo for each tool listed there.
They didn't have any tools for $210 so I went with a $219 tool.
i got Milwaukee M18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless 160 Lumens LED Flashlight (Tool-Only) and Milwaukee M18 FUEL 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 7-1/4 in. Dual Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw (Tool-Only) for $349.72 plus tax. the saw shows $314.22 plus tax.

i also bought this Milwaukee M18 FUEL 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 4 1/2 in to 5 in. Braking Grinder (Tool-Only) and Milwaukee M18 FUEL 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Gen II 18-Gauge Brad Nailer (Tool-Only) and on the receipt online it shows the nailer for $196.61 plus tax of course.
It's an online only promotion, though it doesn't say so in the text.
If you go to ring up the tools, no discount and store manager in Folsom, CA wouldn't honor it.... Have experienced this several time recently.
Was told you have to order online no matter what to get this one. And a different crew has to pick the items off the shelf (while you twiddle your thumbs) rather than just push your cart over to the pickup area which makes zero sense to me...

18ga brad nailers like this are good for putting on stuff like baseboard trim and for tacking things in place while glue sets up (like cabinets, furniture, etc.). in that case the glue will take the load the brads just replace clamps. so maybe good for your shelves depending on your design
Great find OP! Worked for me-- got the Gen 2 brad nailer in store pickup and canceled the 16gauge online after choosing ship to home.
Picked up the nailer today, I'm completely a Dewalt setup but have heard incredible things about the Gen 2 of this one.

This is perfect advice and worked for me.
My local store had 2 of the Gen 2 Nailers so I was able to do the following:
Order the Gen 2 Nailer for Store Pickup: 196.62 after discount.
Order the M18 Braking Grinder for free delivery: 161.38 after discount
After placing the order, I immediately cancelled it, and per their own rules, you can only cancel the online portion of the order and it leaves the store pickup in tact.
So that leaves me with the M18 18-gauge nailer for $196.62 + $12.29 tax = $208.91.
Pretty slick, thanks OP!

Closest combination I could find that added up to $499 ($507 total) allowing maximized use of the discount on the router. I already have the jobsite fan but 55 bucks is not a bad price if you have a store with stock.
