My local Tractor Supply has various grade types of 1qt bottles and 5 quart jugs of Mobil One Full Synthetic Motor Oil on clearance, in-store only.
Most of the 5 qt jugs were $14.99-15.99 and 1qt bottles $2.99. Prices may vary depending on location and availability.
I just ordered 4 for pickup at my local store. The order was shortly after cancelled. I tried to go back to order them for ship to store, and the pricing is nowhere to be found. Maybe this was a site glitch, and just got corrected? Bummed I couldn't get in on it.

Thanks for your post. I noticed you listed 5w30 in title, but the link in your post is to 5w20. It looks like most of the weights are on sale as you mentioned, so it may be helpful to users if you add links for more weights of oil.
Is this a marketing thing? What makes a Truck and SUV 5w30 different than a Passenger Car or Sport Car 5w30?
The Shell Rotella Oil deal on SD is kind of the same situation. Marketed to Trucks / SUV's. It's fine for any gas engine provided it is the correct weight for your car. In the case of the Shell oil the additive pack is slightly different to prevent "shear" which is viscosity breakdown. This oil is not a bad think at all for Sports Cars and such running turbos.

My hunch is it's purely marketing. If you look up Excedrin and Excedrin Migraine...they are the exact same thing. Same thing with Aquaphor and Baby Aquaphor. Even if the additives are a bit different, there's no reason these wouldn't be compatible in a non-truck gas engine.

I'm not saying the oil is different or the same but the use of your analogy for headache medicine compared to motor oil made me laugh out loud.

Yep. I'm sure there is some technical difference in the additive package, but you could use it in anything. Check BITOG for VOAs to be sure.
No shipping at clearance price for me either.
