I still have my 55" M Series from 2012 or 2013 and is not giving me reason to upgrade lol. It's well used and there's no signs of use. It's still functioning as it was when I first bought it.

You know, looking at the 90 zone local dimming version of this TV next to the 240 zone P version, You can see a difference that is noticeable... I can only imagine how big of a difference the 12 Zone vs the 90 Zone would be. Now is the 78 extra zones of local dimming worth the extra $150 from Best Buy?

How does this compare to the 65" TCL 65R615 that some of us got for $425?

Which is a better value/bang for the buck?

Is there any reason from a production or material cost aspect that OLEDs cost so much more than other TVs?

I wouldn't trust the Vizio tv's as far as I can throw them. First one we got was a 60 inch 4k tv. It was great for only two years then the display crapped out on us. Thank goodness we had an extended warranty when we got it. Bought a second Vizio 65 inch 2019 4k tv thinking the first one was a fluke. Nope, that one crapped out too in two weeks. Huge hassle to put it all in the box and return. We're getting something else this time around.

The newer quantum Vizios have a very good picture, great colors and are super bright compared to some of the others. The issue in my experience, and reading from others, is quality control. The 65" PQ I bought about six months ago randomly cuts off and on and it has backlight issues causing parts of the screen to go dark. My 70" M series I bought a few years ago has developed a backlight issue causing the lower right part of the screen to go dark. It seems the similarly priced 65" TCL Series 6 might be a better choice but it seems buying mid/lower range TV's is like playing the (panel) lottery.

They shouldn't trust you with their TV's.
You haven't been TV trained yet?

Hold off for TCL that sometimes hit this price point.

Objectively better television with baked in Roku.
