I have two of these. They give you one battery, but it can take two. Mine last about 6-8 months between charges. That's with the spotlight feature enabled. It lasts about 3 months between charges with one battery.

This camera can also use the solar panel.. I have one and haven't even thought about the battery since i purchased it. I have it on the fence facing the house in my back yard.

You can find cheaper alternatives from Amcrest, Laview etc. They usually claim higher resolution and may have ptz as well. In my (limited) experience with all those systems, the Ring ecosystem (we have the doorbell and two of these outdoor cameras) is the easiest to setup, has the least buggy software (haven't found any flaws yet) and is the most stable over time. Yes, it's $10 a month for online storage, but that covers all cams (can also cover a monitored alarm iirc(?)). Video quality is good and battery life is fine (months). An extra battery costs about $30 I think so definitely not cheap, but for about $15 you can get a third party AC adapter that plugs into the solar panel connection. Amazon has them, I'm sure other vendors carry them as well.

Anyway, you get what you pay for. In my experience, if you're willing and able to tinker, you can probably put together a comparable system for less. If you want convenience and something that works out of the box and is easy to expand, this is pretty good.
