Just picked this up from Costco for about 200 more, while im happy to spend 200 more for the additional warranty that was included (total of 5 years) I'm very happy with this tv, I'm using it as a very large computer monitor, and it's phenomenal for that as well, but it's fantastic as a tv as well.

Huh. I see it. $1449 at Costco. You're right that's a pretty good deal for B&M Costco.

Too bad they're wanting $2449 for the 65" 🙄

Anyone considering the use of an OLED TV as a computer monitor needs to understand the issue of burn-in, as OLED screens are not intended to display static images for extended periods. CNET has a good article here [cnet.com] about OLEDs and burn-in.

LG authorized dealers sell through greentoe. The dealer should provide an invoice that is valid for warranty purposes.

Greentoe just sends your bid to the authorized dealers. The TV will be sold and shipped by the authorized dealer that accepts it. You'll receive an invoice from the dealer and register the LG warranty with them as the place of purchase instead of Greentoe.

The LG website has a lot of nonsense on it.... including them not even understanding GT doesn't sell anything- they're a middle man.

Also the text of the actual warranty doesn't care if the dealer is authorized or not despite the nonsense on the website.

Put in an offer for 1,150. Not expecting it to get accepted though. Still don't love the idea of ordering through Greentoe but if I can get it at that price, I'm in.
