I have the 65 inch from BF. I love it, but I'm also fine with box wine.
If you find a 70" oled for about 500 bucks, please share.

Oled is vastly superior to this set. That's all that needs to be said.

EDIT: This dude has to be trolling, right? Right?
Unrelated to thread but repairing tvs is my job, it seems like I see many OLED less then a year with burn in

How worthwhile is a 70" LED display versus a OLED display of the same size?

He said LED display. You can find some high end LED displays that will deliver an excellent picture with deep blacks without the burn in potential of OLED.

But not this TV.

I don't disagree. But generally speaking by most measures except price, OLED is superior.

Yup. No led can ever get closer to OLED blacks and even then moving objects cause blooming. Burn in risk is highly overstated. It will be several years of repetitive static content before you see burn in, by which time you will probably want a new TV anyways - average TV churn age about 3 years in USA. To anyone on the fence, Get an OLED, you won't regret it! 55" C9 for 1200 or 65 C9 for 1750, great deals right now.

So... does anyone own this particular TV? I know it's a budget (and I mean BUDGET) brand, but 475 bucks for an HDR10 70" with built in Roku seems pretty good all discussions about OLED aside?

Yes, I know the TCL 6 series and hisense 8 series are better TVs... but you aren't getting a 70" for 475... you're getting a 65" for about 500.

65 vs 70 isn't that big of a deal compared to 65 vs 75 bro. But the TCL 6 series is far better than this TV for sure. Go for quality over marginal size difference.

I will just stay a gen behind. For now a $400-$500 70" 4kHDR works for me.

Not impressed with Element. Spend a little more and at least get a Vizio entry level 70-75"
